Mose Check ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Mose Check website audit service at mosecheck.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

• Full name
• Password (stored as a secure hash — we never store plain-text passwords)

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number, CVV, or other payment card details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

Audit data

• URLs you submit for auditing
• AI-generated audit findings, scores, and recommendations
• Generated PDF reports and email pitch content

Usage data

• Analytics about how you use the service (pages visited, features used)
• Audit history (URLs audited, dates, status, and tier usage)

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the service — generate website audits, manage your account, and process subscriptions
• Send transactional emails — account verification, password resets, billing receipts, and audit notifications
• Improve the product — analyze usage patterns to fix bugs and develop new features

We use trusted third-party services to operate Mose Check. Each provider only receives the data necessary to perform their function:

• Supabase — database hosting and user authentication
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• OpenAI — audit analysis. When you submit a URL, the URL and scraped page content are sent to OpenAI's API to generate findings and recommendations
• Firecrawl — web scraping to retrieve page content from URLs you submit
• Google PageSpeed Insights — performance and Lighthouse score analysis
• Vercel — application hosting and delivery

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share data as described above or when required by law.

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

• Session management — keeping you logged in while you use the dashboard
• Affiliate tracking — attributing referrals if you arrived via an affiliate link

You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling session cookies may prevent you from staying logged in.

We retain your account information and audit data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or billing purposes.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
